@kyle Yea that’s a great way to put it. Some corporations will definitely attempt that! Perhaps the way outsourcing has historically gone will be a good lens to forecast this through. It’s possible to get cheaper engineering labor now that it was previously, but that hasn’t prevented a similar if not growing domestic market for engineering.

The end result may be that more can be done with fewer engineers, but, more may be asked from the same corporation, leading to an effective a status quo.
