I've not run it in years, but windows is hot garbage. I bought an Xbox controller to play games on my Apple TV and it needed a firmware update. That can only be done with an Xbox or on a windows PC. So I created a Windows VM. I finally get through the setup and have to then download the Xbox Accessories app from the store, but before it can load I have to install system updates to the ISO I just got fresh from Microsoft. Eventually, the device just won't show in the app.
